Sean was born and raised in Brooklyn. He graduated from
E.R. Murrow H.S., received his B.S. in Marine
Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and
his M.S. from California National University. He also
attended the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School. He served
on board the USS Phoenix as a Submarine Qualified
Nuclear Engineering Officer where he was decorated for
five missions critical to the security of the United
States. In addition to his experience in the U.S. Navy,
Sean has been a Physics Instructor at Brooklyn College
and a NRC licensed Senior Reactor Operator at Indian
Point. Currently, Sean is an
Engineering Section Manager at ConEd.
In 2008,
Sean was appointed to the Town of Poughkeepsie
Conservation Advisory Committee which advises the Town
Board on environmental issues. Running for Councilman in
the 2nd Ward is his first attempt at an elected
position. He looks
forward to representing the people of the Second Ward in
a manner similar to Dom Seminara.
Sean has
been a local resident for approximately ten years. He
lives in the Town of Poughkeepsie with his wife, Kathy
and two daughters. |
